Silk Road Media is a DBA of Silk Road Supply Chain Management, LLC ("Silk Road," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through silkroadmediaco.com (the "Site") and how we use it. By using the Site you agree to this policy.

The Site does not have account registration or an on-site contact form. We receive personal information only when you choose to send it to us: by email, by booking a conversation through our scheduling link, or by taking part in an interview. That information typically includes your name, email address, phone number, company, role, and anything you share in a conversation or recording.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URL. We use this only to keep the Site running and secure.

Third-party services

Scheduling is handled by Calendly, and the Site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Interview recordings may be hosted on YouTube and other video and social platforms. Each of these providers has its own privacy policy that governs the data they collect.

How we use information

We use the information you provide to respond to you, schedule and produce interviews, publish content you have approved, and keep you informed about Silk Road Media and the Silk Road family of companies. We do not sell your personal information.

Interview recordings and publication

Guests own a copy of their recording and retain the final say on anything we publish. Before an interview or clip is released publicly, we obtain the guest's sign-off. Guests may withdraw consent for future publication at any time by contacting us; content already distributed on third-party platforms may not be fully retractable.

Cookies

The Site itself does not set tracking cookies. Embedded third-party services (such as scheduling or video players) may set their own cookies subject to their policies.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes above or as required by law, and we take reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
